Indore Institute of Law created a world record of excellence in the oath-taking ceremony:
Constitutional Mahakumbh: Common Citizen Oath Ceremony and Theatrical Presentation of Constitution Comic

Indore, dated 14 April 2025 – On the occasion of completion of 75 years of the Indian Constitution under the Amrit Mahotsav, to fulfill the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister’s KYC (Know Your Constitution), a grand event of Constitutional Mahakumbh was gracefully organized at Ravindra Natya Grah by Dr. Akshay Kanti Bam under the joint efforts of the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Madhya Pradesh.
As the Chief Guest of the program, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of the state Dr. Mohan Yadav administered the Constitution oath to the citizens of India in the presence of the Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of Madhya Pradesh Government Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya. Along with this, Indore Institute of Law made history by setting a record in the World Book Of Star Records.
Dr. Rajib Pal, Founder-Director of World Book Of Star Records, presented the world record certificate to the program organizer Dr. Akshay Kanti Bam, and BJP In-Charge of MP, Dr. Mahendra Singh, who arrived from Delhi.
Adv. Dr. Manish Das, High Court, New Delhi served as the adjudicator for this world record.
Indore Institute of Law registered its name in the World Book Of Star Records through the Constitution Oath Ceremony. This was the first event in the world where common citizens collectively took an oath of the Constitution.
This unprecedented initiative brought international recognition to the institution.
This record has become a symbol of public awareness and commitment towards the Constitution. Cabinet Minister and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Hon’ble Shri Kailash Vijayvargiya appreciated the sacrifice, restraint, and dedication of all citizens and praised the members of Naman & Sound Group for the national songs.
City Mayor Shri Pushyamitra Bhargav and BJP’s Shri Sumit Mishra dignified the event with their gracious presence. The program began with the unveiling of the statue of Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar by the guests, and the dignitaries were welcomed by the Icon Education Society.
Other distinguished guests praised this unique Constitutional Mahakumbh and said that this is the first time in the world that common citizens are taking an oath of commitment to their Constitution.
Also, they appreciated Shri Kantilal Ji Bam and Shri Akshay Kanti Bam for disseminating the important aspects of the Constitution to the masses through the theatrical performance of the Constitution Comic in the public interest.
Among the guests present from across the state were Shri Tulsi Silawat Ji, Shri Ramesh Mendola Ji, Shri Madhu Verma Ji, Shri Jeetu Jirati, and Shri Chintu Verma Ji.
Dr. Mahendra Singh, who came as a special guest from Delhi, expressed his thoughts on the history and background of India through his powerful speech and made notable references from the Ramayana to the Mahabharata era.
Also in the program, a theatrical presentation of the comic booklet based on the Constitution, authored by Manav Chauhan, was performed by the artists of Rangrupiya Natya Mandali, in which the key features of the Constitution were explained to the public in an interesting manner to highlight its significant role.
The organization honored all the artists with mementos.
In this Mahakumbh, 1500 students of Icon Education Society, along with all the teachers and staff of the institution, were present, and several schools and colleges of Indore city marked their presence and became witnesses to this historic day.
A large number of common citizens also participated with great enthusiasm.
